UIL Regional Event: Form 2 Marching Band Entry
The Form 2 Marching Band form is the entry form to participate in the Regional Band Events. The events are set up by the Region Executive Secretaries and are specific to your Region and Conference.
⚠️ NOTE: You must ensure that the Region and Performance Conference listed in your Profile are correct. If these are incorrect, your band may be entered in the wrong event, and it may impact your eligibility to advance to Area Band competitions. If you notice incorrect information, contact your Region Executive Secretary immediately to have it corrected.
To fill out the form:
- Log in to your account at texasmusicforms.com, and click the Form 2 Marching Band tab on the left.
- The T.E.A. Code box should auto-populate, but if not, you will need to fill it in. This is a mandatory field. If you are not sure what your TEA code is, check with your Region Executive Secretary or look it up here. Don't guess at this, as it could negatively impact your entries.
Select the event you wish to register for from the drop-down. Events are listed by Event Date - Entry Deadline (date by which late fees will be applied) - Final deadline (date by which entries are no longer permitted).
⚠️ NOTE: If you don’t see your event listed, first check your Profile to ensure you have the correct Region and Performance Conference selected. If everything looks correct and the event is still missing, contact your Region Executive Secretary to confirm the event name and availability. Incorrect settings or mismatched event names can prevent you from accessing the correct contest entries.
Select the Group Type from the drop-down.
Enter the number of students that will be participating.
Enter any additional directors associated with the entry.
Read and check the box for Copyright Certification.
Mark the box if you intend to participate beyond the Regional Contest.
If you are going to participate beyond the Regional Contest, you must also select whether you are going to participate in Open Class or Military Class.
Click the green "Enter Marching Event" button.
Once you have submitted your entry for the event, your ratings sheet will open in a NEW TAB.
Review the information for accuracy. If you see any mistakes, you can delete the entry and enter it correctly. For directions, see Manage My Entries here.
- Print the Rating Sheet by clicking the Print button in the upper left-hand corner.
- Print your invoice by going to your My Entries Tab
- Select the Event you have entered and Show Entries.
- Click Print invoice and submit this to your business office for payment. The payment due date is set by your Region Executive Secretary, but is generally a date prior to the event.
