How Can I Correct the Event Code on a Student Entry?

If a student has the incorrect event code on an entry, it can be fixed by editing the entry.

For example: This student was qualified at a regional event, but the Event code for Trombone Solo was entered on the entry. The student actually played the Euphonium. Notice that the PML Number is correct

To correct this:

  1. The Region Executive Secretary in the region the student is in will need to log in to their region account.
  2. Find the entry that needs to be corrected.
  3. Click the pencil icon to edit the entry.
  4. Update both the Event Code and the Instrument the student played.
  5. Click "Update Entry."
  6. Once the entry is updated, it will update the data on the director and the state administrator view.

NOTE: THIS SHOULD ONLY BE DONE IF THE EVENT CODE AND THE INSTRUMENT THE STUDENT PLAYED ARE INCORRECT.
