UIL: How do I find my TEA Code

TEA codes should auto-populate for you when you make entries based on the information your Region Executive Secretary has entered for your school program. If it does not, there are two options for finding your TEA code.

  1. Ask your Region Executive Secretary

  2. If your Region Secretary is unavailable, you will follow the public link below to find the code:

    https://tealprod.tea.state.tx.us/Tea.AskTed.Web/Forms/SearchScreen.aspx?orgType=School

Search for your organization

You have two options when searching for the organization:

Enter the full or partial name of the organization

or, you can search by school number.

If there is more than one school that matches your search criteria, they will all be listed. Select your school.

To search for the TEA code, click "Pick From List" to select an organization from a list of organizations.

You will see the TEA Code listed in parentheses next to each organization name.
